Classic Tetris Tournament

Sunday 14th June, 4:45pm. For gamers aged 8 and up. Welcome to our third annual Tetris tournament at R-CADE. We will be following the official CTWC rules. The tournament will be run on nes consoles, with original Tetris nes cartridges on CRT tv's. We will be hosting a bracket tournament, supported by R-CADE staff. Players will be added to the R-CADE Challonge tournament website, and our tournament champion will go home with some epic R-CADE prizes (TBC). This event will run from 4:45 - 7pm, and our catalogue of over 2000 video games will also be available to play on other consoles throughout the evening when you are not playing Tetris. Our cafe will also remain open throughout the event for you to order snacks and drinks. As this is a tournament event, kids under 8 will not be allowed access to the arcade during this time. Kids under 12 must have an adult stay in the venue throughout the tournament, this adult does not need to purchase a ticket and can wait in the cafe. Please read our t&c's before booking: Each pass covers one person in the arcade area of our venue. Our current maximum capacity for the arcade section is 16 guests. All Ages game sessions are NOT for hosting birthday parties or large group gatherings. Maximum number of passes allowed is 10, for larger groups or celebration parties please visit our party bookings page at www.rcadeglasgow.com/privatebookings . Each pass grants access to our arcade at the specified time booked, not for an amount of time to be used at will. If you arrive after your game session begins you forfeit any time lost and you may not be signed up to the tournament if it has already begun. Refunds and reschedules will only be given up to one hour BEFORE your game session begins. We do not currently have a phone but you can contact us via our chat widget if you need assistance. Please note that games rated 15 / 16 / 18 are not permitted during All Ages sessions to protect younger gamers.
