What do you get?

• 2 hour full access to the entire venue. This includes the arcade and cafe area. The venue will be entirely closed to the public during this time. This can only be booked from 3:30pm onwards.

• Increased capacity up to 30 guests.

• Custom games list for your party. You can request your favourite games to be set up in time for your arrival. (please note that age restrictions apply)

• Bonus access to our big screen projector in the cafe where we can set up games too.

• Unlocked ability to request music and dance based games; Guitar Hero, Just dance etc.

• Choose to receive free party bags for parties of gamers under 18 years old, or free BYOB for parties of gamers aged at least 18 years old.

• Party bags included for all kids attending (under 18 years old). These bags include one toy / keyring, a wristband, sweets, stickers and an R-CADE flyer, OR

• BYOB permitted (everyone attending must be over 18 to qualify)

• Diluting juice will be available to younger guests. 

• First cup of tea or coffee is free for parents, or if you are booking a party with BYOB, guests not bringing alcohol can have their first tea / coffee free.

• R-CADE goodies for the VIP.

• Cake / food / drink can be brought in and consumed in the cafe area. 

• If every guest is over 18 alcohol can be brought in with corkage fee removed.

• 30% discount on all food items at Nonna Said. Food can be pre ordered before the party or on arrival for delivery to R-CADE during the party.

A breakdown of party perks:

• You will have a dedicated staff member who will explain the rules and options to your guests when they arrive. This staff member can also help with game requests throughout your party.

• You can pre order your games list so they are ready to play as soon as you arrive, but don’t worry, you can request game changes throughout the party too.

• Booking a private party unlocks our bonus games. You can request our music based games such as Guitar Hero, Singstar or Dance Dance Revolution. If you would like any of these games please let us know as part of your pre party games list as we may not be able to set up these games during the party.

• We also have a selection of vintage consoles / games available to play for private parties. These consoles include Amiga 500, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC 464, ZX Spectrum. Please note that we can only set one of these additional consoles up and this must be requested before the day of the party.

• Party bags are offered to all kids (under 18 years old) as part of your party fee. Our party bags contain an R-CADE flyer, stickers, Pokemon cards, a wristband, a mini toy and retro sweets. There is space should you wish to add your own items or cake.

• You can bring your own cake and staff will help set up the candles, arrange the presentation of the cake and can divide the cake up for guests to take home or consume in the cafe. We can provide plates, cutlery, napkins, cups for food service.

• You can order food from Nonna Said to be delivered to R-CADE during your party. You can email them directly before your party to order your food via their website at www.nonnasaid.com . If you are pre ordering please make sure to tell them that you have booked an R-CADE party so you can receive the 30% discount. You also have the option to order when you arrive at R-CADE. A staff member will give you the Nonna Said discount link when you arrive for your party.

• If you have chosen to use the 30% discount after your party at Nonna Said pizza, a staff member will give you the discount coupon which you can take round to their venue to guarantee your discount. Nonna Said is a 5 minute walk from the R-CADE venue. We cannot book your table at Nonna Said but you can contact them before your party to book your table to guarantee a space after your party at R-CADE. T&C’s

• STROBE WARNING: Our arcade includes a number of old CRT televisions which can potentially trigger seizures.

• Games are restricted by age, so we cannot allow games with older age ratings to be played during kids parties or if kids are present at the party. 

• Our current capacity in the venue is 30 guests (not including staff). This includes parents or family members not playing games. If there are any children attending who are under 12 on the day of the party there must be an adult present throughout the entire party. This adult will be included in the total number of guests. Therefore at maximum there can only be 29 children plus 1 adult in the venue if any children are under 12.

• Parties can only be booked for kids aged 8 and above. No birthday parties for kids aged 7 and under. Kids under 8 can attend parties but must not outnumber the total number of kids attending.

•  Food / drink from outside can be brought in for the event, but must be consumed in the café area.

• Choose free party bags for kids under 18, or free BYOB for parties of guests aged at least 18 years old.

•  Party bags are included in the party fee for kids under the age of 18. We will count the number of kids and make up our party bags during the party. If you have any additional items to put in our bags just let us know and we will add them in. 

• If everyone attending is over 18 you have the option to bring alcohol with the BYOB corkage fee removed. Please note that spirits are not permitted unless they are in sealed cans / bottles (cans of gin & tonic etc, not 500ml bottles of gin with separate mixer)

• For full venue parties you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your booking, but will be charged a 50% reschedule fee. We are only able to offer full refunds up to 72 hours before your party is scheduled to begin.

• It is your responsibility to relay our t&c's to your group and you will be liable for anyone in your group who does not follow our T&C's.

• 2 hour party packages can only be booked to begin at the set times of 3.30pm, 4.40pm, or 7pm.
