This booking is for exclusive use of the arcade area only, not the café / social space for a minimum of 1 hour with each additional hour charged at £156p/h. The café will remain open to the public during the booking.

No food or drink will be allowed in the arcade area, including alcohol. Celebration cake may be allowed for presentation but cannot be consumed.

A 30% discount is offered for bookings made at Nonna Said, 26 Candleriggs, Glasgow, G1 1LD (https://www.nonnasaid.com) on the same day as an R-CADE Private Booking. Groups will receive a discount card upon arrival that can be taken to Nonna Said to redeem for a discount on all standard food menu items. Booking in advance is advised. Food cannot be ordered to be consumed in the arcade for an arcade only booking.

Externally sourced party bags are permitted, or party bags may be purchased on site. Basic R-CADE party bags cost £2 per person and contain an R-CADE flyer, a set of stickers, Pokémon cards, a silicone wristband, a mini toy and vegan friendly retro sweets. Each bag has space for additional items or cake.

Cake presentation with candles can be permitted, and cake can be divided for guests to take home. Please note that consumption of cake during an arcade only booking is strictly prohibited.

The current fire capacity in the arcade area is 16 guests (exclusive of staff members). This maximum capacity also includes parents or family members supervising / not playing games. If there are any children attending aged under 12 years old on the day of the booking, there must be an adult present throughout the entire booking. This adult will be included in the total number, therefore at maximum there may only be 15 children plus one adult in the arcade if any children are aged under 12.

Private bookings can only be made for kids aged 8 and above. No birthday parties for kids aged 7 and under are permitted at any time. Some children aged under 8 may attend private bookings but they must never make up the majority of the total number of kids attending.

A dedicated staff member will be on hand to explain the rules and options to your guests when they arrive. This staff member can also help with game requests throughout your booking.

Games may be requested in advance so they are ready to play as soon as you arrive, however game requests can be made throughout any booking as well.

Making a private booking unlocks R-CADE's bonus game list. Requests may be made for music and rhythm based games such as Guitar Hero, SingStar or Dance Dance Revolution. These games MUST be requested in advance as additional set up may not be possible during a private booking due to time and space constraints.

Games are restricted by age. Any game rated 15 or above will not be accessible if any attendees are not of an appropriate age. The venue is a public space viewable externally and regulations regarding age certificates are adhered to at all times.

STROBE WARNING: Our arcade includes a number of old CRT televisions which can potentially trigger seizures. Please be aware before booking and take any precautions necessary.

Personal items and party goods cannot be left in the café area during your booking for security reasons.

Cancellations can be accepted up to 48 hours before the date and time selected for a full refund. However cancellations will not be accepted within 48 hours of the selected timeslot and any deposit paid will be forfeit.

Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before the selected date and time at no additional charge. To reschedule between 48 hours and 24 hours before your timeslot, a rescheduling fee will be applicable (50% of any deposit paid). Rescheduling within 24 hours of your chosen date and time is not permitted and any deposit paid is again forfeit.

It is the responsibility of the person organising the booking to relay R-CADE's T&C's to all attendees, and they will be liable for anyone attending that does not follow the written T&C's.

As the cafe area will still be open to the public, and the arcade area does not have a room buffer, certain games with very strong language may not be allowed or may have to be muted.

A 1 hour private booking may only be booked to begin at the set times of 12pm, 1.10pm, 2.20pm, 3.30pm, 4.40pm, or 5.50pm during standard opening days.
