Obscure Sports Month At R-CADE

September in R-CADE is SPORTS MONTH! A Month of celebrating sports, games and enjoying sports even though we are not very good at them! Every Friday throughout September in the R-CADE cafe we will be hosting a casual 'Obscure Sports' watchparty on our big screen. We have curated a playlist showcasing a series of different obscure, but very official, sports from all over the world. Sports we have found that will be shown include Motoball, Chess-boxing, Slamball, and even Armoured MMA!

DO I NEED TO BOOK TO ATTEND THE OBSCURE SPORTS WATCHPARTY? No you do not need to book to join in our watchparty, but you do have to be over 18. Our whole venue, including the cafe, is exclusively over 18's only after 7pm every weekend. If there is an available seat in the cafe you are welcome to hang out, order some drinks and snacks, and enjoy the watchparty. We also have over 300 boardgames and tabletop games available to play during your visit too. We charge a single £3 fee to access our boardgames but then you can play and change as many times as you like throughout the evening.

Our venue is also BYOB after 7pm, this means that you are welcome to bring in your own alcohol. We charge a small corkage fee for drinks brought in eg, £1 per can of beer / cider, £4 per bottle of wine. We do not allow spirits or high percentage alcoholic drinks.
