School's are back, and it feels like the summer holidays are already a distant memory. We understand that money is tight these days, which is why we wanted to share all of the ways you can still enjoy our wee venue, support our business and keep our doors open, while also saving a few pennies...
YOUNG SCOT DISCOUNT
We have teamed up with Young Scot to offer discounts on arcade passes for members aged 12-26. Just log into your young Scot account, or download their new app to find our discount code, or you can pop into R-CADE during any of our game sessions during the week and show your Young Scot NEC.
BECOME AN R-CADE SUPERPASS MEMBER
Become a Superpass member and for a monthly fee you get one free arcade or event pass to use as you wish, you never need to pay to play boardgames ever, you get 10% all food and drink in the cafe AND 10% off all of our merch on our website. You also get first dibs on special event tickets and invites to members only events, and after your second month you get a snazzy R-CADE membership card and lanyard! SUPPORT WORKER DISCOUNT
If you are a support worker, mentor or you are a registered carer you get your arcade pass for free when bringing along your supported person. You must book two passes but when you add our latest Support Worker discount code it will remove the price of your pass. Message us for the latest code and remember to bring your lanyard / proof of support with you to your game session.
OVER 18'S SESSIONS
Book one session, get the second half price! After 7pm our whole venue is strictly over 18's. Our cafe is open until 10pm and you are welcome to hang out and enjoy our boardgames without the need to book.
We host two Over 18's game sessions in our arcade, at 7pm and at 8:30pm. If you book the first session at 7pm, you can also book the 8:30pm session, add 'MAKEITADOUBLE' at checkout and it will half the price of your second session! The discount code only works for one ticket at a time, and you can only book passes for the same date, so if you are booking as a group we advise you to book individually so you can all receive your discounts.
KIDS UNDER 12 PLAY FOR FREE!
Did you know that kids under 12 do not pay to play our boardgames? We have over 300 boardgames, tabletop games, card games and party games in our cafe. You do not need an arcade pass to visit and play our boardgames, we have a flat fee of £3 to access our boardgame library and then you can play as many games as you like for as long as you like, but kids under 12 do not need to pay to play at all! BONUS LEVEL: If you have booked an arcade pass you can then stay and play the boardgames for free after your arcade session!
R-CADE LOYALTY POINTS
We now have a shiny new loyalty points reward app. This app gives you points that you can then redeem for arcade passes and discounts on our merch. TWISM rewards you with coins for booking arcade passes, following us on social media and sharing our business.
