The Big R-CADE Auction

On Saturday the 28th of February we will be hosting our very first Big R-CADE Auction as part of our 'Save R-CADE' fundraiser.
Last year we unfortunately had one of the worst year's for our business, and on top of that we have been hit with with some very sizeable bills that we simply do not have the funds to pay. We don't enjoy talking about the negative side of running a business, but we want to be completely honest and 100% transparent; with everything that has happened over the past 12 months, we might not make it through 2026 without help.
We will be spending the month of February hosting special events, raffles, 24 livestreams and promotions to try and help us reach our goal of £10k. Our final event for the month will be our Big R-CADE Auction! We have curated a phenomenal list of items that we will be putting up for you to bid on.
Here's How It Works
Silent Auction:
Starting on the 1st of February, we will be accepting silent auction bids online. On our auction page we will have a silent auction form that you can fill in. We will accept silent auction bids up until 10pm on the 25th of February. If you are the highest bidder we will contact you on Thursday the 26th to collect a deposit.
We have a couple of T&C's regarding this:
You must be over 18 to bid and win any of our auction items.
If you are the highest bidder you must be able to collect your item from R-CADE by the end of March 2026. We are unable to post any items so make sure that you can collect before you bid.
Our online silent auction will run from February 1st until February 25th at 10pm. We will then contact the highest bidder of each item to request a deposit of 50% of their bid amount to confirm that they are a legitimate bid. If we do not get a response or a deposit within 24 hours we will remove the bid.
We will then be hosting our in person auction on Saturday the 28th of February. Our in person auction will be for the same items as our silent auction, but will give people the chance to visit in person and outbid the silent auction.
If you are the highest bidder on the silent auction and have sent your deposit to us, if someone outbids you at our in person auction, your deposit will be refunded to you within 3-5 business days.
Even if you are the highest bidder on our silent auction and have sent your deposit, if someone outbids you at our in person auction, your deposit will be refunded and you will not receive the item you have bid on.
If you fill out our silent auction form at the bottom of this page but the contact information you have provided is invalid (mistyped email address etc) your bid will not be counted. Please make sure to check your details before sending your bid.
If we receive any bids that seem to be fake or pranks we will not accept the bid.
Our big IRL auction will be held in the arcade area of our venue on the 28th of February. As we are hosting this event from 5-7pm, families and kids will be allowed to attend. This in person auction will be a chance to outbid the silent auction. The IRL auction is free to attend, but we do have reservation tickets available to book HERE. As there is only limited space in the venue, we advise anyone wanting to attend the IRL auction to book a ticket to guarantee a space on the day.
Here are the T&C's for our IRL auction: -This auction will be in person in the arcade area of R-CADE. During the auction our videogames consoles will be switched off. You will not be able to play games or book into the arcade between 5 and 7pm. -Kids and families are welcome, but please remember that our venue becomes over 18's from 7pm. Anyone attending who is under 18 years old will need to leave the venue before this time. -Our in person IRL auction is the final day to bid on our auction items below. We will announce the maximum bid from our silent auction for each item during this event, and then attendees will be able to outbid each item in person. -Final bids can only be accepted by patrons aged 18 and above and able to pay for their bid on the same day. Please note that we only accept card and app payments, no cash. -Please only bid on items that you are able to take home with you. We are unable to post any auction items. If you are unable to take you item home on the day of the auction we can hold onto your item for up to 4 weeks. Ok, are you ready for our auction items? Here we go:
